- ▪Portico — content is preserved for the long term in the Portico digital-preservation archive, so that articles remain available even if the journal ceases to publish. Portico (J-STAGE).
Identifiers, Metadata & Open Standards
Every article is assigned a DOI under the prefix 10.11532.
Articles are produced in JATS-compliant XML, plus HTML and PDF.
Reference lists are openly available in line with the Initiative for Open Citations.
ORCID iDs and machine-readable licence data are embedded in article metadata.
Discoverability
Because full-text and structured metadata are openly available on J-STAGE with registered DOIs, articles are discoverable through general and scholarly search engines, including Google and Google Scholar. Open licensing of newly published articles further supports indexing, text mining, and reuse.
